The Naturalist Guide / Deck Crew plays a dual role in both enhancing the guest experience and supporting the vessel’s daily operations. As a guide, they provide engaging and informative commentary about the surrounding environment, including local wildlife, marine ecosystems, and points of interest, helping guests develop a deeper appreciation for the natural setting.

They are skilled in communicating complex information in an accessible and enjoyable way, adapting their approach to suit different audiences. In addition to guiding, they assist the Captain with essential deck duties such as docking procedures, line handling, safety preparations, and maintaining overall cleanliness and order onboard.

This role requires strong teamwork, situational awareness, and a passion for both hospitality and the outdoors, ensuring each trip is not only safe and efficient but also memorable and enriching for every guest.
