Captain Cook’s Morning Snorkel Adventure

Check-in: 8:30 AM
Return : 12:00 PM

Adults $99 / $89 Children + tax Per Person

Snorkel the most popular and beautiful spot in all of Hawaii, Kealakekua Bay.

This three-hour adventure leaves the dock at 9 AM and we visit the best snorkel spot in Kona, Hawaii!  Kealakekua Bay, Captain Cook’s monument, is home to 100’s of different varieties of tropical fish along with an occasional “Honu” (Hawaiian green sea turtle) or reef shark.  The experience of snorkeling Kealakekua Bay is breathtaking.  You will feel as though you are swimming in a fish tank.

When you join us on this adventure you will learn the history of Captain Cook and get an up close look at the sea caves and lava tubes that scatter along the rugged Kona coast.  Then, time permitted, we will set out in search of other marine life that we are blessed to have here in Kona.

If you are new to or have never snorkeled before this is the ideal choice!  Kealakekua Bay is known to have “lake-like” conditions most of the year, making it an ideal location to get comfortable with the sport of snorkeling. This adventure is particularly good for families with younger children or swimmers who aren’t certain if they are “seaworthy” enough for one of our longer trips.

familiar and comfortable

* NOTE: This trip at the world famous Captain Cook Monument in Kona is much slower paced and affords guests time to become more familiar and comfortable with the exciting and beautiful sport of snorkeling. Our crew will be happy to help you adjust your mask, fins and snorkel and help you become comfortable viewing the tropical fish while using a flotation assistance device we call a “Noodle”.

Have some questions?  Many answers can be found on our FAQ’s page.  If you still have questions, please give us a call and our friendly staff will be happy to help.
